Deep in the heart of Northumberland, in the decaying halls of the long-abandoned Otterburn Hall, sits a grand piano—its tuning lost to time, its keys worn and whispering stories of the past.

Faded Grandeur was never meant to be an official release. These recordings began as personal source material—captured during a quiet exploration of the space, intended for my own sound design experiments. But there was something too special to keep to myself: the way the room breathed, the way the piano groaned and sang in its broken voice.

This free collection includes resonant strikes, creaks, knocks, thuds, and ghostly tonal fragments—unpolished, untamed, and rich with texture. There are no perfect notes here, no professional naming or pitch correction—just the honest sound of a place frozen in time.
